Need to get back on it fuck
So this is where I'm at in my training right now, 204 pounds and about 15% bodyfat. And what's worse is I'm becoming more and more inconsistant. I need to get back on track, I need to schedule every damn workout down to the the last rep. What is going to help is that I have two weeks to myself in the house to get myself on track, make my own meals and schedule my time in a way that will be set for when my family returns in mid august. I need to get back to my leg workouts and my cardio sessions. I just hope my back can stand the stress of running and squatting heavy. And I need to update this more often. Though not many hits, more for personal use and documentation.

Re-Introducing HIIT cardio
Fuck sweating bullets, I STILL have shotgun shells pouring out of me and I've already showered. I've re-introduced High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) cardio into my workouts with jump rope, I'm up to 30 seconds on 20 seconds off for what I'm ramping up to 17 intervals tomorrow. Despite the short duration of the sessions, they're very effective in working up a sweat and hitting your target heart rate. As well, HIIT will increase your EPOC which is essential for those trying to burn fat. EPOC or Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption, is the body's oxygen deficit post-workout. The greater the EPOC the more fat your body will keep burning due to the tissues demanding the deficit be paid.
On another awesome note, I checked my weight this morning for the first time in a few weeks and guess what? I've surpassed 200 pounds! :D I am now sitting at 201 and am pretty content for the moment. Though I don't know how long it will last. Since I have re-introduced the cardio training, the number may in fact go down. Though I am pretty lean, judging by past numbers and memory of what I looked like, I would say that I am sitting around 13 percent sub-cutaneous fat mass. Being fairly decent, I still maintain my goal at 9% by July. And I believe I will set my goal weight at 210.
Just as well, today marks the 6th month I have been dating the wonderful Jaunty Lisa. I am taking her to the Works tonight where I will forget that I am aiming for a 9% body composition for the evening.

On the hunt!!
So it is Sunday night and as of tomorrow I will be on the hunt for a summer job. Whether it be warehouse work or landscaping, I'm in I suppose. The problem is that while I was trying to catch up on my volunteer hours at Goodlife, other students were out passing out resumes for their own god damn jobs. This leaves me in a predicament because I outright refuse to work a customer service or cash job. Well this should be a fun adventure... *yawn*. Scratch that. Okay! Cleanin my rooooom with my green tea and Matt Good.

Hi!
I am Steve and this is my blog!
To be quite honest with you, I never thought I'd ever start up a blog, nor is this going to be one of those manly man blogs, yes I will be documenting my workouts and sharing neat tips n tricks to keep you and your progress on track, but some really random-ass stuff as well. I watched a movie last night? damn skippy I did! Easy A. Wanna fight about it? I'm a MAN. And I thought it was good. Got beef? mmmm beef.
Just thought I'd take a bit, write a welcome post so the page isn't blank. Makes me feel productive.
